Certain vehicles may have received incorrect module coding updates between December 3rd, 2016 and December 5th, 2016 during vehicle servicing. In some cases, the improper coding could potentially affect functions of the Electronic Stability Control system (ESC), such as the HOLD function, or the trailer stabilization, and the distance control unit assistance system. In other cases, certain airbag control unit functions could be affected, such as the seat belt buckle status not being properly recognized.
