Issue:
On certain vehicles, the side reflex reflectors in the headlamp assemblies may not reflect enough light at some viewing angles. Additionally, the low beam reflector in the left headlamp may not reflect light correctly. As a result, the reflectors may not meet the requirements of Canadian regulations.
Note: This recall only affects vehicles equipped with halogen headlamps.
Safety Risk:
Reflex reflectors that do not reflect enough light may make the vehicle less visible to other road users. A low beam that is not reflected correctly could cause glare for oncoming drivers. Both issues could increase the risk of a crash.
Corrective Actions:
Subaru will notify owners by mail. The corrective actions for this recall are under development.
